How Can This Be Free?

Part 1 – Stepping out of the boat

Why would I offer this for free? Let me tell you a piece of my story.

My husband and I have served the Lord overseas for 14 years. For several years we raised the money that we received monthly from our agency. When we came home on furlough, we spent each weekend in a different church, sharing our stories and hoping for financial support.

In 2008, we felt convicted to leave the system. We didn’t like it being such a business, a job. We thought serving the Lord should be 24/7/365, not a 40-hour week. My husband also felt like he was “unequally yoked” at his job teaching English. He didn’t like that they controlled his time.

So he left his job, and we left our agency. We wrote to all of our supporters and told them to send their money to orphans instead. We stepped out of the boat and onto the water. We were going to trust the Lord to provide, and we were pretty sure we would be tested to see if we really did trust Him.

Part 2 – The Test

We eventually ran out of money, but that’s when the miracles happened. We were trusting God to provide. We knew we were obeying, had always given very generously, and had faith that His word was true. The bills were due the next day. A few people still sent us money from time to time, saying that the Lord had prompted them to give. We accepted their gifts. They would give through Paypal, and it would show up in our bank account under “pending balance.” With nothing pending in our bank account, we knew it could be at least three business days before money would be available, even if someone sent something that night.

Before bed, my husband decided to check the bank account one more time. And there it was, our miracle. $1000 was in our available balance. It said it was a direct deposit. We had told no one of our need. My parents were the only ones with our bank account info, and they were traveling out of the country at the time and had nothing to do with it. $1000 was enough for the whole next month (We lived in a ghetto very cheaply.)

Part 3 – The Accidental Blogger

That same year our family learned about lapbooks from a friend of mine. She pointed out one that we got for $1. (This is also how we learned about Currclick.com.) I started designing lapbooks for my kids to make because I couldn’t/wouldn’t shell out money for something I could just make myself. My kids started designing lapbooks for themselves.

I had always posted family pictures online for our far-away family and friends, and I would post pictures of our lapbooks to show the grandparents what the kids were doing for school. I started getting strangers showing up at my family page to see our lapbooks. (Google alerted them.) I felt strange having these strangers looking at my family photos, so I separated them and started posting our school pictures on a blog, “Just Us.”

I thought I could earn money by making lapbooks and selling them on Currclick.com.  I sent them a sample and they sent me a contract. Before I signed it, the Lord convicted me. I was impressed to not sell them but to give them away. So I did. Giving away free lapbooks, I started building a small following at my homeschool blog. They were the first to hear about EP and were the ones who first spread the word about it.

Part 4 – The Rest of the Story

There’s more of my story between then and now, but I guess that’s for another day. There was never a question of selling this curriculum. The Lord had already turned my heart on that issue, but I was making the site for my own children, and I didn’t want to have this whole curriculum and have only my children use it. I wanted to help others who needed to homeschool for free. From day one I wrote the assignments to be used by anyone, not just my family.

If you’ve been following along, it’s not hard to understand how I got started homeschooling for free. We are no longer in the same situation. My husband got a great job teaching foreign languages to homeschool students online through Currclick.com. He worked part time, set his own hours, and he LOVES foreign languages and has fun teaching.

But now I am committed to homeschooling for free. The first year I was putting together the curriculum, no one else was using it. When a few people did start using it, I added the donate button to the site. I knew I was offering something of value and that there would be people who would want to give.

So, hopefully you can see who I am and why I would offer this for free a little better now. I love giving. It makes me happy. I have learned to trust God to provide, so I don’t feel the need to build the curriculum into a business. It’s an encouragement every time I’m surprised by a donation message in my inbox, but it’s a bigger encouragement when people write to tell me about how they couldn’t have continued homeschooling without the site. I’m not going to take it away from them.

2020 Update: I have updated this post a little with a few tweaks. We’re no longer overseas, having lost our visa. For a little while we thought about my husband getting work and us earning our living in the world, but we feel strongly again that the Lord wants us to trust Him with our income. So, while there had even been thoughts of a paid and free version of the site (which only would have been about mom convenience and never a difference for the kids’ experience), I still felt convicted to just make the new My EP Assignments the same for everyone. You can donate or not. Everyone gets the same thing. In the fall of 2019, my husband started helping me with EP. It’s our family’s income. EP is our full-time work, sort of. We serve the Lord; part of that is serving you. My husband is currently working on Bible translation in the Romani language in the dialect of the largest Romani settlement in the world. (We used to live there.) He encourages pastors around the world, is a guest preacher in India, and is an all-around helper to me and EP. He does editing, laundry :), and has made some courses for the high school site and poetry videos for the younger students. We also have several contract laborers helping out with this and that as well as EP grows and gets more demanding.

Thank you so much for this true ministry. May God bless you richly. I felt called to leave my job and my husband left a high paying job to go into ministry. I left to homeschool our children. We barely get by now. However God is always faithful to provide our needs. We have experienced miracles ourself. Sites such as yours are one way I truly believe God provides for our needs. Thank you for your service to Him.

Lee….thank you for sharing your testimony, your work and well, the Lord! You are a blessing to many more than you know.

My husband and I also served on the mission field overseas (how we met) and I had always been bothered by the furloughs spent trying to raise money and the pressure to write newsletters asking for money every month. I grew up in family that often trusted God to provide, and He always did, just as He often does with my own family, and so much of your post resonates with me. I so very much appreciate your efforts. Things have been very tight lately financially and there hasn’t been funds for the “next level” in homeschooling and even though I still have things I can reuse with the younger kids, I am so thankful The Lord has provided an option for the older ones through you. God bless you and your efforts.

I have posted this before but it bears reapeating. We just recently moved across country. Housing did not work out the way we thought so we have most of our stuff in storage while we wait on a house to open up. This site has been a big blessing to me! All the resources I need to fill in until I have my stuff again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Gina

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I have six children ages 9 and under and have been very tight on money as my husband has recently started his own business. I was at a loss of what to do for homeschooling…I’m very blessed to be around a lot of homeschoolers and I was homeschooled myself. But my current books that were mostly given to me to borrow weren’t working and the whole issue of homeschooling was very stressful at the time. I kept praying for God’s help as I knew this is what He wanted us to do but I was so discouraged and quite frankly hated homeschooling at this point! Then I saw several comments on a homeschool blog on FB of people liking Easy Peasy…checked it out. LOVED it! I consider all the work you have done as a direct answer to prayer for me!! My kids love it also and I enjoy homeschooling again. Then I had one laptop that was going out and which made me pray more….now friend is giving us a computer! Thanks for all you do and your inspiration to listen to the voice of God and blessing others! If we all would give generously what God has blessed us with so many more needs would be met in the body of Christ and the world!

Thank you so much for your kindness and giving. I just found out about this site and I am very excited about it. My husband and I have 5 kids and have been homeschooling since my oldest was in Kindergarten. He is graduating this year. Money has been such a huge issue as of late where we might end up having to give up our house that I love. So I just wanted to thank you for doing this. I have extremely blessed already and I know you have and will continue to bless others.

Your story had brought me to tears. What a beautiful and selfless person you are to share all of your hard work. I am a mom of three and expecting number four in June. I told my husband today that I feel like I have a calling and that is to be the one who educates my children. So I looked for a program that is not so overwhelming as I am new to this and also will be starting while tending to a newborn. Your hard work will surely make easing into homeschooling very easy. You are truly a blessing to many and I applaud what you do. I will be one to donate, as your generosity compels me to give back. Thank you for being such a caring and giving person. You are a true inspiration and an example of how all mankind should and can be. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Comments like this are very humbling. I know I am very human, but Christ in me is capable of wonderful things. I am so happy that you have decided to homeschool and am glad I can help you get started.

  16. Mindy s March 15, 2013 / 4:42 pm

I started homeschooling my four daughters 15, 11, 9, 5 this school year. All I knew for sure was God wanted me to do it. So I had done MuCH research and quite overwhelmed. I prayed and told God I didn’t know how to do this He would have to do it, and show me. A couple days later I don’t even remember how but a came across your blog! So to you I am so thankful and great ful!

  17. fifthjoy March 22, 2013 / 12:41 am

THANKYOU! I just stumbled across your site. I am humbled by your testimony. We will definetly be using these resources! I can only imagine how much time and energy you have put into organizing and finding these. May God continue to bless you and your family!

  18. RejoicedOver March 28, 2013 / 11:31 am

Thank you for sharing it free of charge — for your obedience to the Lord in this area. We are one of the families that have been able to homeschool because of this, as we can’t afford a curriculum package. Your willingness to obey the Lord has blessed me!

  19. Brenda March 29, 2013 / 4:49 am

WOW! I’m so thankful to you for following and trusting in the Lord and for your willingness to help all of the rest of us!! I’m so excited about your site. I’ve been praying and praying about what to do for next year’s school year (I’ve homeschooled my children since birth and have a 1st grader and 2 third graders). You are the answer to my prayers!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!

After almost a year of struggling with schooling my 3 (2 of whom have only been home from Eastern Europe for 2 years), we have had so many struggles with language acquisition, bonding, learning disabilities and time management that school has become extremely frustrating for all of us. Thank you so much for providing this ministry in this way. I have been trying to figure out how to afford to buy curriculum for next year, but I am so excited that The Lord has provided once again! God bless you!

I have just found your site this evening and I have found it to be a great blessing! The curriculum and topics are well laid out and complete. I have spent several hours on your site and I think you have done a great job. Your effort to allow families the opportunity to use your sources for free is fantastic. I love it! Many more people will as well. Bless you and yours!

  24. Becky April 22, 2013 / 2:46 am

Tonight you are part of an answered prayer!!! I have been praying for a more interactive computer based curriculum for my 3 boys. Not wanting to bring “school” to our home, I have been so torn by the lack of options online. I just happened to get on Facebook and a mother shared a similar need and that she found your program. As I read and played around it became more and more obvious that God has used you and your call to enable my family to move in our call!!! Thank You soo much for listening, obeying and holding fast!!! This is no easy task in itself and it is clear that you put prayer, thought, love and TIME into this!!! Then to top all this, what I have read of your testimony has encouraged me to get out of the boat as I have been call to do!!!! I love you and I thank you!!! We will be praying for your family as we enter each day of class!!! Praise God!!!, from whom all Blessings flow!!! You are my blessing of peace and hope tonight!!! May God lavish you 10 fold what I have received tonight!!!

I relate to your story on so many various levels. My husband and I were foreign missionaries and raised support much like your family. It often left us feeling dirty – even though I know those that gave did so out of a heart of love and service. We were Providentially redirected back to the States and I’ll spare you the book on that! But I do want you to know that your curriculum is a TREMENDOUS blessing to our family! And my heart is warmed that there are others out there who believe in GIVING. (my hubby is pastoring a small church plant in a very difficult area for no pay…and people think we’re nuts for not pursuing support! 🙂

    Anyway…thank you SO much!

This is what we’ve been searching for for many years. I am so excited! I only have one school age child left at home, but this is a Godsend! Truly we have been at a standstill trying to find some program that met her need to be treated intelligently and my need for it to be as inexpensive as humanly possible plus an online course. Thank you so much for your generosity.

  27. Prisca May 10, 2013 / 12:46 pm

You will never imagine how such a blessing you are! I really do appreciate you. I am less than a year in homeschooling. Just discovered your site yesterday. So inspiring ‘ JUST AS COLD WATER TO A THIRSTY SOUL”. I cant imagine how you were able to put all that together. Being a missionary myself, i understand and appreciate your sacrifice. My children have been having wonderful time learning. Thanks for being a blessing to many. CAN I DOWNLOAD? HOW CAN I USE OFFLINE? GOD BLESS

Are you on facebook? You can ask the other mothers what they do. You can download almost all of the reading ans worksheets of course, but they will need internet access at least some every day.

I have been feeling very frustrated with school for the past few months. I have a nine year old that does 3, 4, and 5 th grade and 5 year old in K. We also now have a 3 and 4 year old. We cannot afford curriculum so I have been trying to pull things together on my own. It was exhausting before and now that our nephews are here it makes it almost impossible. After reading through some of your site I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts.

  29. Gail June 2, 2013 / 8:03 am

What amazing faith and charity you have! You’re an example to us all. I am in a position where I was praying for help… I found your help! I can’t wait to have my children try it. It looks awesome. Thanks so much for your hardwork and generosity.

Your site is an answer to prayer. Isn’t it wonderful, the mysterious ways of The Lord. All praise to him for your site and thanks to you for saving my sanity. I didn’t, know how I was going to continue with this homeschool lark till I found your site, now I will wake with a spring in my step rather then dread in my heart as to how I would continue. Bless you and your family. Your devotion to Gods service is an inspiration.

  31. Jacqui June 15, 2013 / 11:47 am

I cried after reading your story. You are an answer to prayer! God bless you and your family for your obedience and generosity. Your faith has encouraged mine in my darkest hour. My spirit has been lifted and my courage restored.

  32. tina June 25, 2013 / 4:40 am

I know when I stumbled across this site I felt such great joy, relief and like a weight was lifted off my chest. I just started homeschooling in March (2013). I pulled my 14yr old out of 8th grade public school and my 7yr old out of 2nd grade public schools for reasons that would take too long to type lol I was not prepared, confident, or even sure that I was doing the “right thing” so they would be “smart enough”. Going through your curriculum showed me that I don’t have to overload them with 6 hours of work. Doing your curriculum has been just RIGHT for both of them. They don’t feel overwhelmed or miserable. They look forward to Day _ every morning! God bless you for doing this. I am nowhere close to being financially able to buy curriculum sets for them (I have bought some used books from library sales though). *huge hugs to you* Thank you so much, you have blessed my family greatly.

  33. Amy July 11, 2013 / 2:50 am

Hello, I was directed to your site by a friend and former co-worker who graciously told me about EP. I just read the story above of how you got started, and it brought tears to my eyes. I have three children. My oldest is entering 10th grade this year, my middle entering 6th grade and youngest 2nd grade. My husband and I made the decision to homeschool last summer. My middle child has a learning disability and had been in a special needs class since 2nd grade. He struggled with reading comprehension and fluency the most, but there were also some other issues. I knew he he had not made adequate progress and that it was time for a change. Taking the leap into homeschooling was our best option for our middle child. We also started homeschooling our youngest child too. Last year, we used a state cyber academy and were still subjected to CRCT testing and all the regulations that go along with public school. It was just that we were doing it at home instead. I have such peace about starting EP this school year with my two youngest. I cannot tell you what freedom I already feel, just thinking about the added flexibility and less stress we all will have doing our own thing with EP. For the first time in a long time, I’m excited about homeschooling again!
Thank you so much for obeying your calling to the Lord. I know with our marvelous Lord that nothing happens by accident and so I know that I did not find your wonderful program by accident either.

    Blessings!!

  34. Riley Norman July 14, 2013 / 8:49 pm

Thank you! After the public school system has failed my child yet again, I decided to try homeschooling ONE MORE TIME (I had to do it in the 2 and 3rd grade due to an inferior school system losing my child in the “cracks”). The first time I was stressed out everyday and so was my child because it was very hard to find and teach good curriculum to a child already damaged by the school system. She had it in her head that she was “stupid”, a word I don’t like and at first refused to even try. I managed to get some work into her and out of her so when she got back on grade level for her age I decided to see if she would be able to do well in the system again, because for economic reason I had to go back to work and didn’t have the time to devote to homeschooling. She did well and made good grades until her 6th grade year where she made F’s in math and that caused her to fail. She just did not understand the concepts the way her teacher taught them and I couldn’t grasp it either so I was of no help. Her teacher insisted the problems be worked out a certain way and if the problem was not solved that way the problem was marked wrong even IF the answer was indeed correct. Why can’t they teach math the way it was taught when I was in school? So now I have taken her out of the system and I will teach her from your curriculum on 7th grade level and work with her on her math skills the way I was taught how to do them until she gets back up to the 7th grade level. It will be intensive but worth it to get her skills caught up. Your site will allow me to keep her focused and on track with the other subjects with out much effort of looking for the right curriculum, thereby freeing up my time so I can focus on her math skills more. God bless you and your family and I plan to finish up her school career homeschooling her myself for I know I can do a much better job of it. She wants to go to college and become a Veterinarian. I intend to make sure that she can and not have to do it with a GED because the system failed her and have her graduate with only a certificate of completion. Would you believe they actually tried to say she needed special education and I told them she didn’t, but after much pressuring I agreed to have her tested. Not any surprise that I was right. The problem wasn’t my child’s ability to learn so much as the school’s inability to teach. I bet there are a lot of special education students that would do well if the system would actually teach them. Sorry this is so long.

  35. Becky July 20, 2013 / 4:48 pm

Wow! You are incredible and I am crying! What a beautiful person you are. You are a blessing…just what God intended us all to be to those we come in contact with. Thank you for your shining example.

Thanks so much for all the “leg” work you have put into this curriculum!!!! I know God will bless you abundantly, for blessing all of us! It really helps to have such a great resource available for free, especially when finances are tight for so many of us. God Bless

Thanks you your site, I am now seriosuly considering homeschooling my 4 children. I’m very nervous about it and overwhelmed, but with prayer, and your blog, I feel like maybe I CAN do this! You are such a blessing to me and so many others. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

A BIG THANK YOU, TO YOU!! You are a blessing to my family! Thank you so much for offering something so awesome for nothing!! May God Bless you for your giving heart!! It is a real blessing to us to have this curriculum to use. My husband being the only one working and I stay home with our 3 children, 10, 4, and 2. Our oldest will start 5th this year using EP and I will be starting Getting Ready 2 with our 4 year old. It’s always a struggle for us to buy the books that we need. Praise the Lord! This year we don’t have to!

    “THANK YOU”!

Lee, I am excited to use your curriculum this year. Is your husband by any chance “Mr. G”? If so, my daughter is in one of his French courses this summer. She loves it! Thank you for all your hard work and generosity!

You don’t enroll with us. You need to follow whatever your school district’s and state’s rules are for beginning to homeschool.

  41. Maria Surratt August 4, 2013 / 2:44 am

Just looked through your site /curriculum for first time. I love this. We will definitely be looking into this more! Thanks for all your hard work! You are amazing. I am also mom of six.

  42. Deanna Kennedy August 21, 2013 / 8:27 pm

Thank-you SO much for your free curriculum!!!! I can’t tell you how exciting and what a blessing it was when God reminded me of your site; listed in my “look at when I have time” folder. We are a homeschooling family of 7; Children are 10, 9, 6 and 2 yr. old twins. We listed our house and God sold it for us after the 2nd showing! However, now we have to find a new place to live by the end of Sept., and I am supposed to homeschool too?! I normally do an eclectic style and greatly depend on a Used Curriculum sale in our area. We were out of town this year and not able to attend, so I was overwhelmed with the $ I would need to spend and amount of time to locate used curriculum. Not to mention, research to decide what to use.

I was SO excited when I sat down and the kids and I went through the first day of their grades. LOVE the Latin video story in 6th grade!! We are all watching it, and trying to guess the meaning of the Latin words before looking them up online. 🙂 My mother in PA, (we are near Cincinnati, OH), is watching them as well.

My parents were missionaries in Andros, Bahamas; where I was born. Then, they were missionaries in Papua New Guinea, during my teen years.

  43. Gabriela August 23, 2013 / 7:29 pm

Thank you so much for your obedience to our Jesus. I have a 4, 21/2 and 10 month old. I was asking and looking into curriculum options and someone mention your site. I am reading through your stuff and am getting excited and encouraged by what the Lord is doing through you and what he will continue to do.

Like many others you are an answer to our prayers as I was a former teacher and was too focus on the “is this enough”. Question which then made me doubt my capability of teaching them, which cause me to second guess if I was able to homeschool…

So to make it short, thank you again for giving me hope and confidence, knowing that the Lord is taking care of our little family. I will be sharing with other homeschool moms:)

  44. Amanda August 26, 2013 / 12:38 pm

I wanted to homeschool my 8 year-old son and 15 year-old daughter, but didn’t know how I was gonna manage it. I am a single mom, stretching everything we have. God put a plan in motion. And He put you in our path. I don’t know if I deserve this gift, but He believes I do, so I will continue putting my faith in Him and follow His plan for my family. Thank you for what you do and hopefully, as I learn more about homeschooling, I can pay my respects and gratitude by adding to your wonderful program and/or helping where I can. Please know, God shines through you, HIs light is bright and beautiful.

“Give, and it will be given to you. You will have more than enough. It can be pushed down and shaken together and it will still run over as it is given to you. The way you give to others is the way you will receive in return.” LUKE 6:38

I am so moved by your story. You are truly a woman of God. I pray Luke 6:38 for you! A generous person WILL prosper (in every area of life). Thank you so much.

A very blessed 2nd graders mom,

Thank you so much for this site! My husband and I just started a new church and the finances aren’t all there yet! We had some other curricula in mind but couldn’t afford it. A friend of a friend told me about this site and it is wonderful! I think it is much better that what we were planning on getting! What a blessing!

  49. Michele Trowell September 21, 2013 / 6:32 pm

Just found your site a few weeks ago. I pulled my kids out of public schools this year because of my disgust for the Common Core Curriculum that my state is implementing this year. On top of that, I have a 2nd grader who is advanced, but the school he was attending, simply wouldn’t give him curriculum to challenge him. The curriculum we were using at home just wasn’t working out. So I went back to square one, and that is when I stumbled upon your site! I immediately started my 2nd grader on the 3rd grade curriculum (the 2nd grade was too easy for him). He actually completes TWO days of curriculum in ONE day, each & every day! He LOVES it & is absolutely thriving with your curriculum. He loves the variety of online learning & activities that are available. I love that he’s going to learn typing & chess!

At the rate he’s currently going, he’ll be starting the 4th grade curriculum February 1st! He’s so excited about school everyday!

I’m still trying to figure out what math level to start my 6th grader, but I’ll get it figured out! In the meantime, he’s doing well with the curriculum and he loves it too!!!

I just want to thank you for all your hard work in preparing this curriculum & for sharing it with families such as mine! It is an amazing curriculum & I’m sharing it with all my friends when they ask me “How do you home school?” It is EASY PEASEY!!!

    Thank You so much!
    Michele

I have been struggling with putting my daughter into a home school program, there seems to be so many with hidden costs, I wanted something that was christian based and would help her and would be something that I could also help her with. This site appears to be the answer from God that I have been waiting for. My daughter really needs to be taken out of our public school system, she isn’t excelling in it and she seems to get into trouble at school, but does better at home and at church, I have been praying that I would be able to find a program that would be everything that this one is, thank you so much for putting this together for us new comers to the home school process, may God continue to bless you in all that you do.

  51. Bonnie October 14, 2013 / 4:37 pm

We are so blessed by this curriculum! There is NO way we could have afforded to purchase curriculum this year or in the foreseeable future. Your generosity has made our dream possible and we are so very grateful! Thank you so much! Praise God for you and this ministry of yours:)

  52. Christina October 15, 2013 / 2:17 pm

Amen Amen is all I can say to you!! Your website was a gift from God. This is the first year I’m homeschooling my sons 12,10, and my daughter 4, I was looking every single night staying up till 3am looking for the perfect bible based curriculum and when I stumbled across yours this morning at 7:15am I almost started crying. Not only was it bible based but I can incorporate both of my sons which was a true blessing! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication and love. May God bless you and your family !

Thank you.. Words cannot express how overjoyed I feel to have stumble across your site. This is our second year homeschooling and I have been so caught up in all the “this is the best curriculum and each is 100$ or more, and it all never feels enough. I was getting very worried that homeschooling wouldn’t be plausible anymore for us because of money. ears are rolling down as I read your story, and I just want to encourage you and say thank you, thank you so much for obeying the Most High. You have deeply impacted many, including myself already by your thoughtfulness and obedience unto the Lord. Thank you.. just Thank you…

  54. Lael November 17, 2013 / 5:11 pm

Hello! I found your website while looking for christian online homeschooling. I am SO thankful I did. I have 3 children in the public school system and a 4th who would be there in 2 years. I home schooled the oldest for 3 years and then felt compelled by her and others to put her in, but have been regretting it, though trying to make the most of the situation and remain a good and supportive influence at home. She and one of her brothers attend a very small school (30 students total) and so there is a blessing in that, but she will be done there in 1 1/2 yrs and off to middle school, at which point I would love to try your program. My husband has been out of work for 3 years and I make little with odd jobs here and there, so to have the option of something that is well grounded and challenging at low or no cost is a huge blessing to me. Thank you for offering this, for sharing with so many! May you continue to be blessed for what you’re doing!

      • Aria January 13, 2016 / 2:30 pm

I am 11but I found this when I was 10. I love it. I have a little brother and sister. My sister has cerebral Palsy. I have always been home schooled. I cannot seem to get my mom to let us use it for our school. I love school and just wanted some free school that I could do on my own time. This is the best and the only bible baste. I have a really hard time finding a free one let alone a bible basted one. Thank you.

Thank you so much 🙂 You have totally given me confidence! I don’t feel so overwhelmed by the prospect of teaching my own children (God’s way!). So many thanks to you and your family for obeying the Lord and doing this. We are so blessed by your hard work and selflessness 🙂

Wow, praise the Lord for you obedience and diligence! This website has just changed my life, I have struggled with homeschooling in the past, and this year our 2 elementary age children went to public school. I regretted the decision almost immediately, and began seeking an alternative but felt trapped by the system and our financial situation. So we have been praying for an answer, we desire a lifestyle change, a complete priority shift and it was something that was really troubling my heart, that I wasn’t able to train my children the way I knew the Lord wanted me to.Lately things have escalated and we felt a need to pull our kids out 2 days ago without a plan, we were trusting God to provide and He did through you!! We will begin tomorrow!! Thank you so much and God bless you!

What a beautiful story of faith and how God truly provides for us each and every day. I’ve seen since I was a child how God can bless your family when you are faithful to Him. Thank you so much for this curriculum. I’ve just started the homeschooling journey and am seriously considering your curriculum. May God bless you and your family.

Thank you for this. I feel that the Lord guided me here. To make a long story short, we’ve been living on prayer for several months and managed to lose almost all of our books during a move. I have been frantically cobbling together lessons for my children every week this school year. I was actually online searching for materials to plan lessons for this coming week. Your site is exactly what I needed to find and has lifted a huge weight from my shoulders. Thank you so much, we will be using your lessons immediately.

“The Lord bless you and keep you–the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” Numb. 6:24-26.

  63. Rachael February 13, 2014 / 1:34 pm

Thank you so much for your ministry! As an older MK, I really appreciate your dedication and service. You have also made something affordable, that would have been a financial burden on our family otherwise as our family is becoming quite large. 😉

  64. Amalia Ortiz March 3, 2014 / 12:13 am

Praise God! You are a picture of the Virtuous Women Proverbs 31 speaks about. You truly extend your hand, verse 20 giving, servant to those in need. Confidence from God not self which is rooted in understanding God. May the Blessings of God continue fall upon you and your family as you shine and give God the glory. Thank you for being transparent and sharing.

  65. Karrie March 24, 2014 / 8:42 pm

Thank you for posting all of your hard work to benefit other families. I was feeling overwhelmed with curriculum costs and choices. This was my first year homeschool. I am looking forward to using your posted resources for next year. This is such a time-saver and money-saver. Thank you!

  66. Belinda Bernal August 10, 2014 / 8:50 pm

Hello. You and your site are an answer to a Prayer I just prayed last night. I have been wanting to home school my son but was afraid, since I only have a high school diploma, I didn’t think myself smart enough. I said a prayer last night. I got up this morning and came across your site. In then left for mass. In today’s gospel it was about not being afraid. .leaving the boat as you said in your story that I just now read! That is not a coincidence to me it is God saying to me to leave the boat..to not be afraid ..that I am not alone! Free! You are a wonderful servant of the Lord. Thank you and I am nervous and excited and less afraid about the journey my son and I will be on the first year of home school:) God bless!

  67. Sandy August 11, 2014 / 2:24 pm

My two kids & I just recently found your site. We are starting day 6 of 6th grade today. We really love the Latin videos but are enjoying the Bible parts of the curriculum the most!!! I’m ashamed that we haven’t consistently included Bible in our lessons before. Everything is so expensive, & the other subjects always seemed more important when ordering……This year I couldn’t afford to order yet & thought this curriculum would just have to do for a while….Wow, what a difference!!! I’m realizing that none of the other subjects matter 1/2 as much. Thank you. Your obedience is changing lives & hearts. We don’t want to stop. We will donate soon!

  68. Priscilla Tomanek August 12, 2014 / 5:25 am

Wow! I had tears coming out as I was looking through your site. God had given me the word home school. I had no idea what to do with it. Not too long ago I met some ladies that had home schooled their kids and well she gave me someone else to speak to. When I spoke to her she told me to make sure God was telling me to do so and pray. So I did! We have no money right now…going through a financial struggle. So I told God if this was from You, the way would be made. The next morning I received a call from the lady who told me to pray and she told me to check this site out.I did and am so impressed with all you have done and left for others who want a christian program for their kids and can’t afford it. I have been blessed by y’all and know y’all will be blessed 10 fold for this site and the education y’all are providing for so many families. I will keep you in my prayers and when possible I will give back to y’all what you have blessed us with. Thx you God bless!!!

  69. Amanda Farris August 18, 2014 / 3:00 pm

I, too, have nearly stopped many times. I started homeschooling via a calling from God. I’m oblivious, really. Even so after two and a half years of homeschooling. But I continue to persevere knowing that the Lord is behind us and he supports me and he will continue to give me a way to home educate my child (Cora, 9) and my children to come (Elisha, 10mo). Your ministry here has opened a door for me that guides me so as I don’t give up every day. It’s like having a best friend behind me, encouraging me constantly (The devil constantly tries to convince me I’m not made for homeschooling, that I will fail and fail my child, but I have become more confident through this curriculum.). Thank you for your sacrifice for all of us, your consistent giving, and I pray you continue to feel the joy you experience through doing this.

  70. Monique Martin August 19, 2014 / 5:33 am

Thank you so much for this homeschooling site! We love it! When it’s possible we do plan on donating. For so long I had searched and prayed for a Christian based curriculum. So blessed to have found you! This is our 3rd year and I finally feel like I’m getting my ducks in a row with all of this. Realizing it’s putting God first, and everything will come. This year we will be homeschooling a seventh grader and two 5th graders. All girls 🙂 Thank you again!

  71. Jo Ann Davis August 20, 2014 / 5:31 am

I am so thankful for this site. I had been praying about homeschooling our 11 year old child for about a year before I started in Dec. 2013. She was bullied at school and had medical issues (which we think were worsened by the things going on at school.) Finally, I started in Dec. 2014 and now am starting a new year. Our daughter is very bright and I think she was getting bored in public school, also. She’s doing it and many things have improved since we started homeschooling. I just found a homeschool support group in our area and now things are even better. My husband is in full time prison/jail ministry and money has been tight for us, too. God bless you for all you have done and we hope to donate when possible.

  72. Kathe August 21, 2014 / 12:50 am

Circumstances made it necessary for me to homeschool my 15-year-old for the first time ever. Financial circumstances meant I had no way to pay for any courses, so I kept hitting a brick wall trying to find resources. Thank you so much for sharing your lessons. My daughter is looking forward to starting classes, and I am so grateful for your loving ministry!

I’m glad you found EP and I’m glad you see that it is a ministry. I hope your daughter has a great school year.

  73. Catherine November 5, 2014 / 6:29 pm

    Dear EP,

Thank you so much. I homeschool my older son two years ( actually not really), but load too much on him. He is back to school. I am pulling out my younger son in the middle of the school year (will end by Xmas break). I am afraid to step out of boat on to water. But knowing that this is what the Lord want me.
Not a easy road for me (english is not my primary laugauge), do not have confident in myself. But – it is not about me. It is about Him.

My son is 3rd grade. If I use 3rd grade + year 1 (L) should cover all? which individual course from your site I should add besides 3rd grade + year 1 (L).

By the way, a homeschool friend sent me your link and I am thankful.

    Blessings
    Catherine

  74. Angie November 5, 2014 / 9:15 pm

I found your website recently and so amazed at what you offer, and your selfless ways to share. I’m enjoying using the Getting Ready 1 for my preschooler, we were doing a lot of printables but I love how you link the letter songs, pics of the letter, etc…She is picking up the letter faster! I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you and your family.

      Dear EP,

Happy Thanksgiving. And may the Lord richly blessings your family.

I found 4th grade details print out but cannot find Year 4 details print out (only Year 1 ). It is useful to know each day what need to be done for Year 4).

      Thanks, Catherine

So excited to have found your curriculum.. I was beginning to feel discouraged homeschooling and this is exactly what i needed.. I am starting my kids off with the getting ready 1 at level 172.. I have one question which is, if i pick a level do I need to worry about adding the math and other subjects or is everything included for each day and level that needs to be there? Thanks so much for all you do!! This is such a blessing..

  77. Dream Team January 19, 2015 / 8:29 am

Thank you for your faith and work. We hope to make this transition into this school. YOUR STORY IS EXCITING AND AUTHENTIC. Most of the world spends 1000s of dollars to send their kids to school. Its sad to see people who can barely make $50 bucks a month try to shell out so much to send their kids to school- its the norm. Its the same here in Africa. We are excited we discovered you… May your every prayer get answered in 2015 and beyond.

  78. Lisa McGuire March 3, 2015 / 5:22 pm

This site has been a blessing for us. My 16 year old being forced to leave the public school system due to bullying and health issues and no one wanted to help. She had always been independent, but she has developed a since of self worth, when everyone she thought was there for her made her feel like nothing. She does a lot of the work on her own and gives me piles to grade. She has developed such a great level of accomplishments. She has her college goals in place; started receiving college interests and is beginning to feel like a good person again. Still working out the ordeal of how much has she accomplished as she feels she’s a senior now, but I truly believe this site has offered such great things and I thank you for the hard work you put into this for everyone to have.

  79. Jessica G. April 9, 2015 / 1:30 pm

Thank you so so so much for doing this! We have 2 kids (5 and 10). Our youngest has severe food allergies and a seizure disorder and a sensory processing disorder and the thought of sending her to public school gives us great anxiety. We knew in our heart that homeschooling her was best but the boxed curriculum prices are out of our budget. My husband works full time 40-60 hours per week and I stay home with the kids since daycare was a concern with the youngest’s health. We love this program. I can’t tell you how much this means to me that you do this and offer it for free.

  80. benny April 23, 2015 / 2:04 pm

Thank you for being such a blessing, I only just stumbled on to this site, I haven’t read everything but I’m impressed and touched because it just showed me again how much God loves me; I’ve been fretting about school for my 10 year old, worried he’s not getting the best education etc. While I’ll not be doing a full homeschool programme, this will help me support him at home. Thank you.

  81. Melanie Lucas June 27, 2015 / 4:54 am

I want to thank you for putting the time and effort into putting this all together in one place. I am homeschooling my son after spending 10 years in the system. I feel this is a better option for him. I appreciate the fact that you are providing a very valuable resource for free. The price of curriculum can get quite expensive. Again, thank you. If by chance you get a chance to respond, I have a question about sending in some contributions to some of the other parent submitted classes.

  82. Sabby July 17, 2015 / 6:03 am

God bless you!! God has blessed you!!! And I am so sure God will continue to bless you as you follow His leading!!! I have been homeschooling my 2 children for 5 years now and was needing to make a decision whether to continue for this next year or send them to our local private school. Which by the way is now an excellent choice, with GREAT teachers, so that made my decision even harder. But I have really enjoyed having them home and teaching them (with some exceptions 😉 ) so the choice has been very difficult. I was especially wondering if I could continue “teaching” my grade 5er all she needed to know since I certantly don’t know everything. This curriculum seems like God’s way of answering my prayers. So thank you ever so much for making this available. I understand the immense amount of time and effort that has gone into it. Thank you for following God’s leading. See you in heaven if not here on earth. 🙂

  83. LETANYA EDWARDS August 6, 2015 / 3:11 am

    GOOD EVENING ,

My mother will homeschool my son this year, while my husband and I go to work in the day time. I know you’ve touch so many heart’s with such an amazing curriculum . God is so GREAT!!! My son is going into the forth grade. How can my child get credited for all the assignments once completed?

  84. Jill August 16, 2015 / 5:05 am

Thank you so so so much! We knew we needed to homeschool when our oldest son (with autism) began being bullied at school and going to a dark place socially. We are a military family that just PCSed this month and we got hit hard with crazy expenses- like rain=pouring. Shipping a vehicle out of pocket over seas, having all four tires blow out, and finding it towed from our mother in law’s apartment complex. That’s just some it it. Then our pay got messed up after we moved into our new house this week.

I’d been agonizing this whole summer over curriculum. First the right one, then the cost. It was already going to be tight before all this other stuff happened. I started to consider letting my son try this new school- you know fresh start in a new place. He wanted to do it, so I prayed about it and totally felt convicted that homeschooling was right for us. So I recommitted to that but thought about k12 to save the money I don’t have. But I felt convicted on that as well. I decided to stick it out and just happened upon a link to this today in an email that was a month old! I feel so blessed, thrilled, I can’t even say! I feel like after all that worry, I have the right thing, God delivered, that I have been waiting on! I will look forward to the day I will get to put in my donation! Thank you!!!!

  85. Kandy Williams October 1, 2015 / 3:52 pm

I am so thankful God led me to your site. I have decided to homeschool this year. I searched and searched all summer for information and courses I could afford. Needless to say, after about 3 months, I had to admit defeat. Today was my last ditch effort to find something feasible or I was going to have to enroll my daughter into public school. I felt like homeschooling was the right direction for her but I was failing her. I found your site today just before shutting down the internet and giving up. You cannot imagine the burden that has been lifted. After taking a tour of the site, courses, and information, I know now that my daughter will get the remainder of her high school education successfully and have the solid foundation she will need to continue on to college and beyond. With the sincerest gratitude, thank you. May the Lord bless you and your family. And one day when my situation changes, may He bless me enough to repay you. No words can describe. Thank you!

I just wanted to thank you for offering this for free!! I have known since my oldest was born that I was going to homeschool my children but have always battled the “am I good enough” “will my kids learn what they need”, etc. My husband is a pastor at a smaller church in SC & financially, we cannot afford paying for a curriculum, especially if there is a possibility that it wouldn’t work for our family. Every year I pray, cry, and ultimately end up putting my oldest in the public school system. I look all year long & try to figure out how to afford the right curriculum for us. And then… The other day I was speaking with an individual & just made the comment that I know I will homeschool, we just can’t afford it right now. And the very next day I literally just stumbled upon your site. I am completely in love & have spent hours perusing everything. I spoke with my husband about wanting to officially begin homeschooling in the Fall. And I am unbelievably at peace about it where just last week I would have started crying, hyperventilating & screaming! Haha I thank you very much & I pray blessings upon you & your family for being such a giver!!

Hello I am in South Carolina as well. I just came across this curriculum and it just has touched my heart. I started homeschooling this year and it has been so frustrating to find a system/curriculum that works and that doesn’t take more time away from my son. Have you started homeschooling as well using this curriculum?

  91. laquashia2013 May 6, 2016 / 4:43 am

I have been praying for God to lead me to the right resources, mentors, and friendship, if it was in the best interest for me to continue homeschooling my soon to be 15 yr old son. I feel my prayers are being answered daily; finding your site was one answered prayer! Words cannot thank you enough for your time, patience, endurance and the love you’ve put into this site/curriculum for homeschooling parents. I just found it today, 05/05/16, while searching online for a music appreciation course, and can’t stop reading. How truly awesome it is to find an adequate, well written, phenomenal curriculum for high school and all the other resources listed. Thank you, thank you thank you!!!!

God bless you! I am a pastor in Ohio and father of three boys (15, 11 & 7). I was looking for online ‘summer school’ material and providentially ran across your website. Although I haven’t made it to any of the curriculum yet, my heart has been broken and blessed as I read the spiritual motivation and passion of what has become your story. Be assured your family will be mentioned each evening when our boys pray before bedtime. Thanks for your dedication and humble spirit!

God bless you. I have cried so many tears over not being able to homeschool my kids(when they struggle with a teacher, come home saying a word they shouldn’t have even heard, or I think of something brilliant I want to teach them but don’t have the time). My husband and I have decided I should quit my job and take the risk because we believe we should be growing and leading our children at home. I’m quitting this week, walking out onto the water and someone on a Facebook group told me about your site.

God bless you again. Thank you for following His lead. For listening to His spirit speak to you. I know many have been affected by your faith through this site but just know that you have changed my life. My husband’s life. My marriage. And my kids lives.

Hello!! I stumbled upon this wonderful site as I was searching for help to chose a curriculum for our children. My husband and I left our jobs back in Feb with the hopes of starting our own business. We were tired of our jobs controlling our time with our family and we wanted freedom. We prayed and moved in faith. A few weeks ago, we decided to homeschool. Coming across your site has been what I’d call a wonderful blessing from God! Our business is doing well having only been established two months ago but I have to monitor the cash flow and I just wasn’t prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on a curriculum for school. So I just want to thank you for your obedience to God. I’m so thankful that you hear Him and move accordingly. May He continue to bless your family immensely as you serve so many families in this very special way. -Shanika

This curriculum is amazing! Wish I would have done more research before I decided to go with Abeka. I would have saved a $1,000 in books and 2 months of shear misery. This has been our first fun week since starting homeschool 2 months ago. We love EP!!!! Thank you for sharing all of your hard work with us.

I’m a mom of three and in a few short weeks I will be leaving my Teaching job in the public sector to stay home and homeschool my kiddos. I had heard of your site before and encouraged a friend to use it since it was free, but never fully explored it myself. Now that I have spent some time exploring a few different homeschool options, I am convinced yours is the one I want for my sweet kids. I’m excited to be able to donate while I still have a job! I was so nervous about this endeavor, but after creating a schedule for my 7th grader using your site, I am incredibly excited to get started! Thank you for your generosity! I am truly grateful! ~Christina

This seems to be an answer to prayer! I home educated one son as an only child, for 10 years. It was a wonderful experience. That son is now grown. Currently we have 4 more sons (2,6,8,& 10).
Homeschooling multiple boys has been a difficult thing to figure out, i have been burdened by a daily sense of defeat in actually teaching academics. I have prayerfully considered putting them in school, but cannot come to peace with the idea.
I am just beginning EP but I finally have hope again after being at the end of my rope for many years! Thank you for using your gifts to bless others. My heart is filled with praise for God’s grace in your life!

Thank you so much for providing this service. I am just starting to homeschool for the first time. My children just completed the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade in a regular public school. I didn’t think that this year was as productive for them as it should have been. I was led of the Lord to begin to homeschool and as I sought answers on which curriculum to use, I ran across this one on Pinterest and began reading about it. Right now my family is unable to pay a lot of money for school because I was also led by God to leave a very successful administrative position to have more time for ministry work (sounds crazy to some but I believe God will provide exceeding, abundantly above all that we could ask or think according to the power at work in us)! I’m excited about this opportunity and will cheerfully donate to the cause as we can! Thanks you again for this jump start into the homeschooling world.

  106. Donisa July 12, 2017 / 1:24 am

God bless you! That’s all i can utter out while being overwhelmed with emotion of reading your testimony. Not only will my three children be using this program for the first time (first time home schoolers and we’re super tight financially!) but you give me hope to TRUST and step outside of the boat. May the Lord keep providing for your family. ❤

I agree with every post I’ve read, this course, and you, are a Godsend. My son is bullied terribly at school and I’ve had all my heart can take!

I will be pulling him from public school and using your curriculum. I will also be donating as much as I can.

God bless you and thank you so, so, so much!!

Thank you. This message brought me to tears. I have been homeschooling my son but finances have led me to have to return to work. I was able to find a job that I can do from home, but it means less time to spend one on one working with him. It was looking like I would have to send him to conventional school because all the curriculum that allowed him to work semi-independent (he’s 10) from home was so expensive. Then I found this site. This site is answer to my prayers. God does provide, Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I was moved to tears reading about how the Lord convicted you to offer your curriculum for free. It is always astonishing to me how often He moves in peoples’ lives this way. When my husband left me with 4 young children including a baby less than one year old, He sustained me financially and spiritually, sometimes by my Pastor showing up at my house with money that someone felt moved to give. He is so awesome, and I appreciate so much your witness. God bless.

I LOVE that you have this as a Q&A. I was sitting here going through the “How to” video and asking “How in the world is something this amazing FREE?!” I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this site. I just pulled my 9 year old daughter in January with God’s leading and I wasn’t sure what to do. I was very overwhelmed. Someone mentioned this site to me and I am at such peace about our new journey. Thank you for allowing God to work in your life the way He has! What a blessing you are! <3

Wow! What an amazing Story! Our current situation kinda matches the start of your story… among the storm I was called to homeschool my child. So while the bills are “due the next day’ situation still roared loudly I pulled my daughter from the school to home school her. It has been a bumpy ride these last few weeks but I am pretty excited to see how your curriculum can help us have a successful year of homeschooling.

  119. LaTaiya Sells October 18, 2018 / 2:52 am

I want to thank you for being obedient to the Lord. My daughter was having trouble in school. They would send her home almost everyday. I found out that she was ADHD. So we started her on medicine after we decided to take hey out of public school. It’s still a bit of a struggle, but God is helping us through it. I started off using k12 but it was not what I thought it was. It was actually public school at home. We would stay up till about 2 or 3 in the morning trying to get all her work in on time. I love love love easypeasy because we can go at our own pace and choose what we want to learn. And most of all it’s free. My husband and myself are not working right now so this is helping out a lot. My son just turned 5 this year, but we started using your site for him when he was 4. I was so happy to see that he was able to learn a lot through this website. He and my daughter are doing so great. I also believe my son has ADHD as well. Again I want to thank you for doing this because you are truly a blessing. May God continue to bless you and your family

  121. Brittaney February 12, 2019 / 5:56 pm

Can’t express in words how BLESSED we are to have found this curriculum! We previously spent $$$’s on a big box curriculum that took hours of prep and was not well suited to the learning style of my first daughter. After adding a few more kids to the mix I quickly realized it just wasn’t going to work if I was going to homeschool all the kids. I wouldn’t have enough time in the day, not to mention the cost! Plus we were both frustrated to tears all too often trying to get all the assignments done each day because we just weren’t enjoying the curriculum.

Since switching to EP last year my 10 year old has gone from grumbling and complaining about school to opening the laptop and getting started on her own as soon as she wakes up! She loves that its not all sitting at the table doing workbooks and listening to me talk. LoL She thoroughly enjoys all the extra activities, games, and hands on opportunities. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I no longer have to sit beside her the entire school day to keep her focused and on track. As a resul I have been able to start EP with my 4 and 6 year olds as well. They too love it, and my 6 year old is learning to read SO much quicker than my oldest did with this method! She loves the McGuffey Primer! Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

  122. Heather Wynn February 15, 2019 / 7:59 pm

This is quite literally an answer to prayer. For the first time, I have been convicted of a horrible spending problem. I am trying to genuinely repent and obey the Lord, allowing Him to meet all of our needs intead of me meeting them myself (with a credit card and massive debt). I know I am called to homeschool my children but cannot afford the cost of Christian based curriculum. I was specifically praying about this need when the Lord put on my heart to look for free Christian based online schooling. I didn’t even believe that was a possibility. But, I went online and started searching. The Lord led me straight to you. I am beyond amazed. I can’t even. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. This is a blessing from the Lord that cannot be measured. Thank you.

    • Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool February 15, 2019 / 9:06 pm

A lot of people’s EP stories begin with, “I was praying…” We do believe with you that the Lord led you to us. He will meet all of your needs. We firmly believe that here. We’re happy to be a part of His work in that. 🙂

  123. Anna Harris February 21, 2019 / 3:38 am

My husband and I are in full time ministry. We moved 14 hours away from family (A big step for us)… We found our kids were being bullied and it has been very difficult. My heart aches for them. We were able to put our son in a k12 program right away but our daughter wanted to stick it out… It had gotten worse and to the point where we couldn’t send her anymore. It was like dropping her off and literally handing her to the enemy. I was relieved when I found your site in the middle of night while i was literally weeping asking God what to do.

I cannot thank you enough for your leap of faith, its really helped me take mine. I feel very under qualified to do this, but I know that I can do all things through Christ who is my strength and so here we go. Thank you so much.

  124. Dawn August 1, 2019 / 2:12 am

I can’t possibly thank you enough for this online curriculum. I’ve felt overwhelmed in past years, but everything we need, all in one spot, perfectly laid out, has made our lives so much less frustrating and made our school days much more enjoyable. I always dread paying for school supplies. They get so expensive, and this has made is a lot more comfortable. I truly appreciate this website. Thank you so much!

  125. Stephanie Maxheimer August 13, 2019 / 9:45 am

I can’t thank you enough for providing this invaluable online curriculum . I have struggled the past few years ( and my daughter) to find a curriculum that works for both of us. It has been so stressful that I feared we both grew to dislike homeschool . I was overwhelmed with the feeling that I wasn’t providing enough educational material to her and that she was going to be “behind” and never catch up. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, discouraged and more, you and the Lord have saved us! She loves your program and so do I! Thank you so, so, so MUCH!

  126. Sempai Mama August 13, 2019 / 10:26 am

Wow! I have been looking desperately something for my little one, so we both; as I say: *learn together.* It has been really hard so many sites, so much information on the matter. I have been trying alone and giving classes and/or information I think is valuable and it has been overwhelming, over all I want my child to love God above all things. Will definitely try this. I thank and give the glory to God that has lead me see this and thank you for this encouraging words.

I just can’t thank you enough for doing God’s work, I am so grateful to have found your curriculum! I decided to remove my 7-year-old from the public school system after watching him struggle and struggle and yet he was still passed on to the next grade. We tried one other online curriculum and he did not like it, but absolutely loves yours! Thank you, you are an absolute blessing!

  130. Lilia Lopez January 17, 2020 / 3:56 pm

I do what I can to homeschool my kids. At times, it feels like I’m not able to do everything I can for each of my kids; 5, 4, and almost 1. That what I do is not “enough”, but I certainly don’t want them in the public school system, and I’ve been praying that I would be able to find something that was free or affordable and simple and all in one spot. Then I came accross one of your pages and clicked on a few other links to continue reading about it. I was nearly moved to tears reading about your story and why you choose to do this (for free). I think it is truly amazing and a wonderful blessing to so many, including myself. I plan to sign up and one day soon, hopefully, I can dontate to you for this wonderful gift. Thank you for your heart and thank you for following the life God has for you! Many blessings.

this makes me want to cry. Sending you virtual hugs. I love and appreciate you so much. I’m so happy to hear the story. As a believer myself, I kinda figured as much. I wrote a blog post maybe last year…maybe the year before. http://www.homeschoolmomja.com/2018/09/01/easycurriculum/. i hope you get to see this and read our little blog post. I tried to depict our excitement and gratitude in it but oh how I wish you could have seen the excitement in our house. It was straight pandemonium in the best kind of way. squeals and all. It’s so amazing how God uses our obedience and boy oh boy, you’ve been obedient. I’m gonna go before I start bawling again…virtual hugs. You’ve made this momma soo sooooo happy

Lee, I just want to tell you that your story moved me so much, and I want to thank you for being obedient to Christ and what He has called you to do. You are so inspiring! Due to the lockdown, I have been trying to find ways to homeschool my daughter and it was getting frustrating and to top it off, I don’t have much funds to work around. I have no idea how I came across this, but the Lord heard my prayers and this curriculum is sent by God Himself. I ordered the books and I am so excited to homeschool my daughter. Again, thank you so much!

We are planning to and praying about switching to homeschool. I knew I wanted to do it inexpensively (so many resources out there), flexibly (to allow for other pursuits and passions as we learn), and simply. Early on one my research I found your site and, long story short, I told my husband, “this is exactly what I would have created for our kids, if it didn’t exist, already!” He agreed. And I’m so glad it exists, already! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For your organization, wisdom, creativity, generosity, and heart for homeschool families. Most of the fears I have about making the jump are gone. May God richly bless you for this ministry.

Thank you for keeping Him first, your faith stirs me and brings tears to my eyes as I KNOW it didn’t come without sacrifice. May you be blessed beyond measure this year. My husband and I have been on a faith journey for 20 years now and have planted and pastored churches and he has also travelled as a missionary while I stayed home with 6 kids. We have had many bumps and bruises along the way, but God is so good. And when He speaks He always comes through. We have given away things and He always gives back, we have moved states without knowing why other than He said to, and He is faithful.
We tried to homeschool a couple years ago and it went very badly as I was too stressed out and working outside of the home while trying to do it, thankfully I am in a different place now and have a lot more options available. I felt the Lord once again prompt me to take 3 of my kids and homeschool them, and with much fear of not wanting to replay the other year, I stepped out in obedience. When I found this site, I knew it was an answer to prayer and going to help me with our busy lifestyle to keep some routine and be able to have peace to know that with certain subjects the kids will be getting what they need.
    Blessings!

I admit I was super skeptical about “free”. My husband works in public education and I’m sure the only reason he readily agreed to homeschooling our two young boys this year is due to virus shutdowns, etc.,. I would like to continue homeschooling, but we are a single income family. I so appreciate the materials you have posted on this site and for you following what God has put on your heart. We would appreciate your prayers as well as we follow God’s leading for educating our two very energetic boys.

Wow. I love how God leads us to find what He wants us to do, right when we need it. I have been doing virtual learning with my children this school year since the covid drama and feel led to homeschool my three girls. Through an idea from one of my friends that sparked me, we opened up a homeschool center at my church where children who chose virtual learning could meet, regardless of their school system, and complete their required work under my supervision. It has been full of ups and downs since going totally online. The girls are smart, but have been experiencing a lack of motivation which has caused them to miss assignments and see their grades plummet! My husband and I and church family already know we are withdrawing them from their current school system to pursue homeschool and many have expressed interest to do the same. Fortunately, I am surrounded by many homeschool friends who I’ve been picking their brains about it! I just shared with one, that I believe I found what we will be using next year — the EASY PEASY ALL-IN-ONE HOMESCHOOL! The EP curriculum will enable us to do this on a wider scale. We will even incorporate a monthly donation from each family who participates to support this generous work! I believe EP will help me to ease into homeschool at this time so that it is not so daunting and overwhelming!!
I thank God for this God-find!

May god always bless you and your family! I have just found this site and am so grateful. I made a donation as well. I am brand new to homeschooling due to the pandemic. I also work full time from home along with being a mom of 3 children. I am sure you have an idea of how much weight you have just lifted off my shoulders. I am so much more organized now and can create a plan for each child. I started off thinking there was no way I could imagine working full time and homeschooling but I am so relieved now to know its possible!

I’m so happy to hear this. That’s our mission – to make homeschooling possible.
