Thank you to everyone who has given donations to my family. I realized that I hadn’t been sending thank you notes. I always write a thank you note to anyone who donates to the site, but because the donations to my family were mixed up with the registrations to My EP, those didn’t get notes. I’ve gotten the system straightened out so that everyone gets a thank you note now. So, sorry if you weren’t personally thanked, but we do receive all your gifts and we are grateful for your love and support. We don’t have any paid work. Your donations are what the Lord is using to provide for our family.
I also wanted to say that there are three new books coming soon. I will hopefully have the links up by next week.
- I have the next Good Morning, Lord! book ready. It’s the lessons from the book of Exodus. Genesis is already available.
- I wrote a very short choose-your-own adventure type book. Let’s say it’s for around ages 8 – 11. You are on a mission trip to build a greenhouse in a Roma community in the Republic of North Macedonia. My husband and I were church planters there years back. In the book are some of our color photos from our time there. It’s called “Acknowledge Him in All Your Ways.” You’ll find the right path if you chose to trust God is in control and use His Word to guide you. 🙂
- The big news is that I have a new novel ready. I wrote in back in January of 2021 and have been working on editing it, on and off all year. It’s called The Trumpet and the Swan. I will tell you more about it at the release, but I will say that it is another end times story, but this one is set in modern day. It’s not trying to predict anything because that would defeat the purpose. The point of the book is that you don’t need to know everything, you just need to know Jesus. It’s teaching having a relationship with Jesus, walking with Him. Hopefully it’s just as engaging as The King Will Make a Way.
Once I get all the work done to get these published, I will work on getting them on the site somewhere as well. The Good Morning lessons can be found here. The Trumpet and the Swan will be available in hardcover. The King Will Make a Way is available in hardcover now!
Updated: The books are out. Find them here.
Thank you! I’m looking forward to your new books. My children enjoy choose-your-own adventure books. They will make a wonderful gift for them. The love and work you’ve put into EP has enabled our family to homeschool. We started this journey in 2015. I was intimidated with where to begin and quite fearful of failing to provide quality education for my children. EP is all we’ve used. My children are flourishing and I enjoy seeing them grow in their love of the Lord.
That’s great to hear!
Thank you for sharing all that you do. It is a great blessing to many families. We have been using your curriculum for two years ( and sending support when we can) and are really satisfied with it except for the change which allows the students to see the answers. My daughter does not want to tangle that temptation in front of her children so she has been copying and pasting all the lessons each week. We hope and pray that this can be changed back to a password to see the answers if at all possible. Thank you and may the Lord continue to bless you and yours in all your endeavors for Him and His glory. Sincerely, Donna
The only change has been to add MORE password-protected answers. The only answers that aren’t password-protected are the high school answers, and they never have been. Many of our high schoolers work independently and need to be able to correct their own work.
The click-and-drag answers in parentheses are intended to be available to the students. That’s not a change – they’ve always been there. You can read more on the FAQ page about the answers and how they’re presented.
If your browser is going straight to the answers instead of asking for a password, your browser has saved the password. Delete it from your saved passwords or clear your cache and history. In the future, checking answers from a separate browser than the ones the kids are using for school will prevent that issue.
I am looking forward to the adventure book! Those are one of my favorite type of books!😀
Mine too. It is very short, just has three endings. I had the idea and it was kind of me seeing if I could pull it off. 🙂 Maybe I can expand on the idea in the future.
My children and I are reading The King Will Make a Way – we are on Chapter 30 and the edge of our seats! They (in their excitement) sometimes decry at the end of a chapter when I say we need to wait to read further until tomorrow, “WHY DID SHE END SO MANY CHAPTERS ON A CLIFFHANGER??!!” Perhaps we’ll be able to read the next book too!
Good encouragements on what a disciple of THE ONE TRUE KING looks like.
I know I was so mean when I wrote that 🙂 I’m glad they are enjoying it. It’s a nice being able to build that image of a disciple instead of just a Bible teaching saying we should do this or that. I have people write me from time to time and tell me how they keep saying to each other “The King Will Make a Way!” One wrote about stepping out in faith for the Lord to provide for college instead of taking money to go to a school they didn’t think was right. The money came in from here and there in all sorts of ways. The King made a way. 🙂
We are looking forward to your new books. My son love reading along with me to “The King Will Make A Way”. Thank you for your curriculum and your books.
