Donations Needed — Update — We got in all we need. Thank you!

I’ve gotten all the donations in needed, and I’ve saved the files! Thank you everyone!

***PLEASE TAKE NOTE: I have just learned that the website holding all of the power point flash presentations I’ve made is going to delete them. It’s all of the phonics stories and the words for sight reading. It will cost $50 a year to keep them on the site. Obviously, I didn’t realize this when I put them there. I haven’t been able to find another place to upload them that won’t require you each to download each one onto your computer instead of playing online. Would some of you please consider donating $5, $10, so I can use the money to pay to keep these online? I have the power points on my computer; I don’t need them online. I’m doing this for you, so please consider helping me out with this.

I posted that note on the Getting Ready 1 page because it would be most effected by this. Since posting two days ago, I have gotten $25. It’s discouraging because I can see that more than 100 times a day the page gets viewed. I have learned that this site isn’t going to run for free. If you are using the curriculum and it’s helping your family, please consider giving. I paid to remove ads, and now I have to pay for file storage. These will both be annual expenses. There are enough people using this that the cost shouldn’t be an issue at all. I hate to have to ask, but I really don’t think I should pay this out of my pocket.

If you can’t donate, please don’t feel guilty. I’m not trying to put on the pressure or make you feel bad! I just need help right now.

I will definitely make a donation. I can’t this week but if you will give me an address I will mail a check by the end of Sept. And I can commit to donating every year that we continue to use this. Thank you so much for providing it!

I’m not able to right now, but please keep us posted and let us know if the need is met. You are doing some wonderful work here! We should support you any way we can. Until I have some $ I will pray God’s richest blessings upon you!

The need has been met. Please don’t feel bad about not being able to donate. How do you think I got started homeschooling for free? I know what it is like to literally not have two pennies to rub together.

You should try transferbigfiles.com – I don’t think they charge much for storage.

I can look into it, but at this point it would mean re-uploading 200 files and then putting new links for all of them on the site.

I haven’t seen the post until today. Where are you asking for the money to be sent? I don’t see anything on how to send money.

Just started researching your site and it is now going to be the curriculum I use to home school my pre-k child instead of the program we were going to at a daycare who has a public funded pre-k but it just wasn’t right for us and I pray this gives me the skills to do this and as long as we use your site I think 50 dollars annually for those who can donate and that is cheap compared to all you have done for our children’s learning. I’m so happy and I hope to donate way more then you are even thinking atleast once per year and hope it will give you the ability to take this even further and further and maybe u can do science experiments and such where if choosen to participate the parent will pay a small price to receive everything needed right at their door packaged by you to complete each individual project with much hassle and you will have used the donation money to cover your materials which in bulk saves money allowing to keep the cost for the kits to a minimum and affordable to parents. Obviously you will need to charge a dollar or so a box over your cost to keep it going but I can tell we are all parents working to homeschool our kids and we can all give in different ways to help you make this site whatever you wish. Everybody she has put her blood sweat and tears into this. It’s a lot of work and more to come so if we can do our part to ensure she can keep things going and growing

I don’t see something from the “jazzy” email address. If you aren’t confident in using Paypal, then please don’t worry about it.

So how much does it cost you total to keep the storage and the ads off each year? I just found this site today and my son is finishing out his 2nd grade year in Public School. I believe my husband might finally be on board. I told him about your site and about donations and we would want to send you money to keep it up and running.

I am getting enough donations to meet my costs. It’s not going anywhere. You don’t have to be worried. I only want people to give cheerfully, not out of obligation or concern.
