God is going to whistle for His kids and they are going to return to Him with their own children. And they will live.
God calls families. You can trust God with your children. We see more than one household salvation in the Bible, where everyone is saved at once. There are covenant promises that are made saying “for you and for your children after you.” There are promises of God’s blessing to the thousandth generation.
Entrust the Lord with your kids. You can’t save them. God can.
You can’t train salvation into them. You can’t discipline salvation into them. You can’t teach salvation into them. Only God can change a heart. Only God can save.
God will strengthen them and save. He will do it for you and your children.
The Lord declares, “I will make them strong in the Lord, and they shall walk in his name.”
We are not strong in ourselves. We are strong in the Lord. And we are strong in the Lord when we walk in His name.
To walk in His name means to walk in His power, nature, and authority.
It’s all His. Jesus said that all authority had been given to Him. It’s all His. You don’t have any. It’s all His.
But we can bear His name. As Christians, we bear His name. Peter talks about us becoming partakers of the divine nature. It’s ours in Christ. It’s all ours only in Christ. We have no power. Christ has power.
We can be strong in the Lord, when we are in the Lord, when we walk in the Spirit, walk in the Light, because we abide fully in Christ. We are His and He is ours. We are one in that we no longer live but Christ lives in us.
It’s His strength, power, authority. It’s His name we bear. It’s His glory we work for.
