God’s people are asking where is the God of justice?
What’s wrong with that when you see injustice in the world?
It’s accusing God of not being just, of doing wrong, of being absent, or uncaring, or not able to do what is needful.
We must always remember who our God is. He is good. He is loving. He is righteous. He does no wrong. He is the definition of right! If He does it, that makes it right!
He is also just and He would no longer be God if He were unjust. He can’t act unjustly. He can act in mercy, though. He can show mercy. He delights to show mercy.
He is also loving and love is patient. God is patient, not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance. (That’s from 2 Peter 3:9.)
God will return. God will judge. Justice will happen. Are you sure you are ready for God to mete out justice?
Jesus is coming to judge all. Before that, He is coming to the church. That’s where judgment starts.
He will come suddenly. The question is asked, “Who can stand when he appears?” You will fall on your face!
He is coming with His refiner’s fire. That’s a good thing. The other version of His fire is wrath. Refining is for His chosen. He will make us ready for the judgment! How good is our God!
He will make us pleasing in His sight. Then He will judge.
To get ready for His sudden appearing, the Lord sends ahead His messenger. Listen to the man of God! He’s got a message from the Lord. The Lord wants you ready.
