We started the chapter being told the believer is under no condemnation if they walk by the Spirit. Now, at the end of the chapter, we are told no one can condemn us. The one who died for us is praying for us. He’s the only one who can rightfully condemn us, but instead He’s praying for us. It’s impossible for His prayers to not be answered.
No one can separate us from the love of Christ. Nothing can separate you from God loving you. When all sorts of troubles come, no matter how bad, it will never mean that God has stopped loving you.
Israel loses everything because of their sin. God still loved them. The losing everything was a sign of God loving them. God knew that all they needed for life and all the blessing they desired was found in Him alone. He wanted to get them back into the blessing of knowing Him. He wanted to get them back to Himself because He loved them.
The Father lets the prodigal son go, but He never stops loving him. The son needed to hit hard times before he was able to understand and receive the Father’s love for him.
Job lost everything and God called him blameless. God loved him. God was teaching him, but God was also using his life to teach and bring blessing into the lives of billions of people who would hear his story. God redeems it and restores everything and more.
Paul says they are killed all day long for the sake of the brethren. I am willing to suffer if it means others come into a saving knowledge of God. We give our lives over to God. He does all things well; He does them perfectly.
All these things that come against us, they aren’t for our harm. They all work for our good. We are more than conquerors through them all because Christ the victor is with us through them all. He loves us. We are never abandoned. Nothing in all of creation will be able to separate us from the love of Christ. For God so loved the world…
