“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (Romans 8:1, NKJV).
The converse is true, too, that there has always been condemnation for those who walk according to the flesh.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23, NKJV).
This is still true. The wages of sin is death. Sin leads to death. Walking according to the flesh is living in sin. Walking according to the Spirit is living in righteousness. Death and condemnation are for those who walk according to the flesh, who walk in sin, who follow after the lusts and desires of the flesh
