For families returning to or considering returning to public school next year, please keep these things in mind:
-
You are responsible for creating, maintaining, and providing any records needed.
-
Easy Peasy is not a school, and there is no enrollment. Your student is not enrolled in Easy Peasy.
-
Easy Peasy can not in any way provide proof that your student has completed any work in any course. Proof would come from your records.
-
Please contact the school directly with any questions you have about their policies, what they require, and how to meet those requirements.
- On any paperwork list homeschool as the previous school, not Easy Peasy.
Public school after homeschool
If you are planning to return to public school next year, most schools place by age until 9th grade. Some may use a placement test or ask for a report card from the parent. (Easy Peasy cannot provide report cards or any other documentation.) Please call the school directly to learn their placement procedure.
High school is different. Most public high schools will not accept high school credits earned from homeschooling, regardless of which curriculum you use. In some cases, this can also be true for students transferring from other school districts, states, or private schools. For this reason, it is recommended that if your student starts earning high school credits while homeschooling, they should continue through graduation. However, there have been students who took final exams to place out of courses and receive the credit. Again, please call the school directly to see what their procedure is.
“There is no enrollment. We keep no records. We are not a school. We are just a curriculum resource. The curriculum is just open and available for anyone to use. The parent is responsible for creating, maintaining, and providing records.” https://allinonehomeschool.com/faq-contact/
