The Lord has blotted out our transgressions and removed our sins like the morning mist. He has redeemed us, bought us out of slavery to sin and a sure future of death and destruction. He saved us. Sing! Rejoice! The Lord has done a great thing!

Do you recognize what the Lord has saved you from? Have you considered what your life would be like if you were not saved? If you were a slave to sin, what gutter would you be in? He rescued you. He ransomed your life. He paid for it with His own. Sing! Rejoice!

Sing! Rejoice! Don’t be afraid. Will He not save the one He gave His life to save?

He alone is God. There is no other. People look to their own thinking to determine what they think about God. Man’s logic leaves them bowing down to a block of wood that they cut for use in the fire. It will be burned up and destroyed. You will not.

Sing! Rejoice! Say, “I am the Lord’s.” Do you rejoice in knowing you are not your own? Do you rejoice that you have been bought and belong to the Holy One of Israel? Do you rejoice that you are a servant of the High King? Call yourself by His name and rejoice. Sing!

He pours out His Spirit on the thirsty and renews the dry land and brings life. He will be our help. He made us. He knows us. He chose us.

Serve Him with gladness. Serve Him with singing. Rejoice!
