Ez. 28:25 “…When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and manifest my holiness in them…”

There are many “out of church” Christians who are deeply devoted to God and the Body of Christ. I don’t know if that surprises you. It certainly seems impossible to find a church that teaches God’s word, believes the Holy Spirit is the same today as yesterday, and has their hearts set to love God and others. But God is gathering His people who were scattered. He led my out-of-church family back into the church and He wants me to stay there. Others like us have returned to church. An example is the evangelist who was in prison in Florida the year I wrote this. The Lord used the experience to teach him about the importance of church. He publicly repented for believing he didn’t need the church. Francis Chan has spoken about having been wrong to leave his church and start his own, to act like he didn’t need those he left. The hand needs the foot. We all need each other.
