EP’s Math 1-3 courses as well as the Lit and Comp II course will be replaced with new courses in July. If your student will not be finished with their online Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, or Lit and Comp II course before July, these are the steps you will need to take to make sure that they continue uninterrupted in their current course. This is true for Literature and Composition II as well.
In your My EP Assignments Settings, scroll down and click the link for your “Extras Page“.
On your Extras page, click the link for “Math-Extra” (“Reading-Extra” for Lit and Comp II).
It should already show the math course you are currently using. If it does not, click Previous course or Next course until you get to your current course. DO NOT select any of the courses that say “EP Math – NEW 2022.” You want to continue with your current course, not switch to a new course. When you have it on the correct course (either Math 1, Math 2, or Math 3), click “Save and Return to Settings” at the top of the page.
On your Settings page, you will see the new course with a gray background and the word “Extra” next to the name of the course. Click “Move Up” and keep clicking it until the new course is up in the same position as your current math course.
When your new course and your old course are in the same spot, set the Lesson Number in the new grey box to your student’s current math lesson number and then click the red X in your student’s old math course box to remove that course. (If you do not remove that old course, it will automatically be changed to the new course in July.) You want to KEEP the new Math EXTRA course and DELETE the old math course.
Your student will not notice any change to their assignments page. This will allow you to finish the course your student is currently in without any interruption in their lessons.
Here is a video walk-through of this process.
