Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! 1 Chronicles 16:11 ESV
This is what I live in, though without the seeking. First you seek, but there comes a time when you find.
I sought the Lord’s strength. I work in the Lord’s strength now. It’s slow and easy work for me, no rush, no hustle. I accomplish lots, but I’m not busy at all. The Lord orders my day and I do one thing at a time. And He enables me to spend hours in devotional time throughout the day.
Probably my favorite verse this year has been Psalm 57:2. I pull out from it and say all the time, “He performs all things for me.” Wouldn’t it make life a lot less stressful if God did all things for you?
The other part of the verse at the top of the post is about seeking His presence. I sought and found that too. I can always see Him before me if I give Him my attention. I never have to enter His presence or try to make a connection. I just have Him there with me always. I found Him. I can always ask Him questions or ask for help. He’s right there to answer.
If you don’t know His continual presence or His strength to perform all things for you, it’s all available to you. Seek and ye shall find.
