There are four themes, which are labeled as Program Years or Years on the site. They are the rest of your child’s assignments. They include science and history daily as well as weekly art, music, and PE/health lessons. Every day there is one of the weekly courses.
Year 1 is biology and ancient history.
Year 2 is zoology and early American history.
Year 3 is earth science and geology and cultures.
Year 4 is physics and chemistry along with modern history.
The music and art for each year corresponds to the history in many instances.
There are just two levels for the program years. The first through fourth levels directs them to the lower level lessons. The fifth through eighth levels directs the students to the higher level of lessons. They can be considered the elementary (L) and middle school (M) levels. I set it up that way so that all of your children can be studying the same thing at the same time. They may all be learning about pyramids or bones, or whatever, on the same day, but they most often will have different readings or videos to do so.
