Go With God

When the people enter the temple and when the people go out of the temple, the Prince goes with them.

Never go anywhere without the Lord.

Most people think that the Lord is always with them. There is no consideration that He may not be with them, even if they don’t think to acknowledge Him.

But we see examples in Israel’s history where they certainly thought the Lord was with them, but He wasn’t at all.

Don’t go without the Lord. How do you know? How do you know He’s with you if the Israelites were celebrating God’s presence when He wasn’t there at all? That story is in 1 Samuel 4, though many times the Israelites and their false prophets thought God was with them when He wasn’t.

You need to live in fellowship with Him. You need to be walking and talking with Him all the time. You need to be asking Him questions and acknowledging His answers. We need to be seeking to get to know Him through His word.

Are you seeing answers to prayer? If you aren’t seeing your prayers answered, then there is a breach in your relationship with God.

He answers the prayers of those who are living pleasing to Him (1 John 3:22).

You can’t have every answer immediately, but you will regularly be seeing your prayers answered.

If you don’t see those answers, ask the Lord to search your heart and show you what is there that is not of Him. Ask Him to show you your other loves and to help you hate them. Ask Him to remove everything from your life that isn’t Him.

Seek the fullness of relationship and fellowship with the Lord. Live your life with Him. Don’t receive and then go. Go together.

Refuse to live without Him. Refuse to work in the flesh. Refuse to make your own decisions.

Do life together. You go with Him and He goes and does all the work. Nothing we do is lasting. Everything He does will bear eternal fruit. There’s no point unless He’s in it.
