December 15

If there is one thing I think I understand about Revelation, it’s chapter 6. It seems so clear to me. My gift in the natural is outlining. My curricula are written as big outlines. I have fond memories of my first outline. I was ten.

Revelation 6 reads to me as a concise outline of the end times, what we call The Tribulation. I pray for revival for Manoa, but when I pray for revival for the nations, I am praying Rev. 6 and the white horse rider conquering. I see that as revival. It’s accompanied by tribulating factors like war and economic disaster. Tribulation has always been needful (Acts 14:22). It’s a gift for God’s people. God’s preparing His spotless bride as well as preparing His children for what’s next, persecution. That’s followed by signs in the sky and people fearing the wrath of God. Wrath is never for the believer (1 Thess 5:9). Believers will be rescued.
