Israel is an example for us. Sin and worldliness lead to death. Jesus is life. He’s not going with you to your death, but He’s always there for you to turn back to and will go after you with what you need to help you turn back to Him. His love will welcome you when you repent, when you turn around and go His way.

There are churches singing their songs and people giving their tithes and the Lord despises it.

Amos 5:21, 23 “I hate, I despise your feast days, and I do not savor your sacred assemblies. …Take away from Me the noise of your songs.”

The Sunday morning service routine is not what God is after.

Rev. 3:2 I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.

What does He want?

Amos 5:24 But let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Rev. 3:4 [There are a few] who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
