Conquered

What an amazing description of Christians – “those who had conquered the beast and its image.”

We conquer the beast. Amen! He was defeated on the cross. We walk in that victory. We will overcome. We don’t just make it through. We are more than conquerors. If you start to get squeamish over the persecution that’s surely coming, get your chin up. You conquer the beast.

We also conquer his image. Reading that verse, it struck me that we are made in God’s image. The world is made in the devil’s image. He has sway over the whole world. There are people that have taken on the devil’s image. The world systems take on the devil’s image.

We conquer. We don’t cave. We step on his head. Satan doesn’t get the authority over us. We have another Head. No matter how much control the devil gets, He doesn’t get to control us. We submit to Jesus. We have one King.

You are more than a conqueror. Keep your head up. Keep the praise on your lips. We conquer in Christ alone. It is finished. He has already won.

He is King of the nations! All nations will worship Him.

The world, in the image of the beast, will experience a final outpouring of God’s wrath. There are no believers there. These judgments are just and holy and true.

God will use the demons to bring the nations to the scene for the final battle. They will unwittingly submit to His plan for their final destruction.

The plague was so severe. We have so great a salvation.

In the end God comes as a thief. He will kill and destroy, in complete justice and righteousness.

Keep your garments on. Keep them clean, washed in the blood of the Lamb.
