Called to be Saints

Those called to be saints are the sanctified and are those who call upon the name of the Lord.

We’re not sinners saved by grace. We’re called to be saints.

We get a new identity in Christ. Don’t cling to the identity of sinner. The old has passed away. The new has come. By faith we die to self. By faith the life we live in this flesh, we live by faith. We are crucified. “I no longer live. Christ lives in me.”

We don’t live our life. We live Christ’s life. He doesn’t live for entertainment and self-satisfaction. He lives to love.

We can’t live that life of love without Christ. We are completely reliant on Him to live moment by moment in the beauty of His grace instead of our filth.

So we call upon His name. We call upon His character, His divine nature, His power to live and move and have our being, to do the willing and the working of His will in and through us.

In every way we are enriched in Him. He is everything to us and gives us all things.

We need Him. We need Him. He is the One Who will sustain us and present us guiltless. He are hopeless without Him.

Rejoice, though. We live in fellowship with Jesus. He is with us to the end. He is able to keep us and present us faultless before the throne.

He can keep us in the love of the brethren. Did you notice that saying “I follow Christ” was wrong just as the others?

Of course it’s not wrong to follow Christ. What’s wrong is a superior attitude, an attitude of setting yourself apart from the rest of the Body.
