“…he never left them without evidence of himself and his goodness. For instance, he sends you rain and good crops and gives you food and joyful hearts” (Acts 14:17, NLT).

One evidence of the goodness of God is people’s joyful hearts. When people are feasting and having a good time at a celebration, at a party, it’s evidence of the goodness of God. He created us to enjoy life. He created us to enjoy good food. We didn’t have to have taste buds. We didn’t have to have the capacity for joy.

God shows us His goodness, in how He gives good gifts to even those who are His enemies. He gives them hearts that can rejoice and celebrate.
