The Lord will roar with a mighty roar against His fold.
Roar is a really popular word right now in song lyrics. It can refer to the saints all singing together in heaven, but it’s also used as the Lion roaring. But when the Lion roars, it’s not a good thing.
The Lion’s roar is a sign of wrath being poured out, of judgment coming and it’s too late to stop it. The Lion has roared.
Give thanks when the tribulations come on the earth. See the compassionate God trying to do you good! He wants to save you! He is trying to get you to see you need Him, so you will call on Him to be your Savior.
He is waiting for you to choose Him, so He can swoop in for the rescue. He needs your permission. He needs you to make your choice.
If you are relying on other saviors and He saves you, then the other saviors get the glory and it encourages you and others to seek that for their safety, provision, etc., instead of looking to God.
He needs you to look to Him for your salvation. Look to Him and be saved! You have a Savior who is just as mighty to save as He is mighty to roar in judgment. And mercy triumphs over judgment. 😊
God’s heart is to save you and everybody else. Don’t complain against God when the troubles come. He knows what you need. Hint: It’s Him. And He knows what you need to turn to Him.
Of course, the best course is to surrender your life to Him now and skip the troubles, except those for the sake of righteousness, which by the way, we’re supposed to be exceedingly glad about.
Troubles that cause us to rejoice and be exceedingly glad sound much better than those that lead to devastation and to be as the dung on the earth!
