If you are in Christ, you have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. The Lord withholds no good thing from us, and He’s the best thing ever. The Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask. He gives us Himself. He gave Himself in Christ. He gives Himself in the Spirit. If we have the God of everything, what could we be lacking? We have it all.

If you are in Christ, you were chosen to be in Christ. You were chosen from before the foundation of the world. In His love, He predestined you to adoption. He chose you to be His child before He created you. It was His will.

In His wisdom, He lavished grace on us, undeservedly offering forgiveness, redeeming our lives, buying them back from death into life by the shed blood of Jesus.

We look forward to a future when all things are united in Christ, and all comes under His perfect Kingdom rule.

If you are in Christ, you have a guarantee of an inheritance that we will fully take possession of one day. All to the praise of His divine glory.

So we give thanks. We were chosen. When we have faith and love, it’s because we were chosen.

May we have the wisdom to understand the knowledge of His will and all that He offers us, to know the riches we have in Christ, and His immeasurable power at work in us and on our behalf.

On OUR behalf. This isn’t just about you. It’s about us. It’s about His Body. We are the Church. We are His Body. He is our head. He is far above all authority and power in existence on earth and in the spiritual realm. And He’s joined to us. He’s part of the same body we’re part of. He is our head. He directs our thoughts and actions.

We reach the fullness of Christ when we are ALL in Christ.
