The whole earth will be destroyed. God will empty the earth. It says He will twist its surface and scatter those who live on the earth.

Everyone will experience the same thing. There will be no distinguishing between classes. God will not be partial. Everyone who remains will meet the same fate.

There is one distinguished group of people: those holy to the Lord. They have been separated from the world and to God.

Wouldn’t you want to be separated from the world at a time like that? Then why not now? There will come a time when it will be too late.

He will lay low those in pride. It says He will lay low their pride and the skill of their hands. Are you proud of your skill? It’s from God and for God. You have nothing on your own that you were not given, even your hard work and determination are gifts from Him.

God alone gets the glory. He is a protection for the poor and those in distress. He is a shelter from the storm and heat.

He will swallow up death forever for those who are holy to Him. He will wipe away every tear, something else we read in Revelation. They waited on the Lord for His salvation and rejoiced in it!

He is our God. We exalt Him. We praise His name. He has done wonderful things. He made plans from before time and has been faithful and sure to carry them out.

We can trust our future to the only wise God and Savior. He knows the plan and He can bring it to pass.

Separate yourself from the world and to God and place yourself in His loving hands. He has the plan to prosper you and not harm you.

There is a promise of destruction and death and a promise of life everlasting. Put your hope in Jesus!
