If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword…Isaiah 1:19-20 ESV
Seems such an easy choice. You become one of these.
Psalm 52:9 I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people.
OR
Isaiah 1:15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen…
What are we to do?
Isaiah 2: 22 Stop regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he?
Isaiah 1:16 Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.
We can make choices to do what is right. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to take away our sins (1 John 3:8, 5). He’s given us all we need to live right. He gives us His divine power for all things pertaining to life and godliness and grants us to become partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:3-4 ).
Let us reason together. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.
