Something I pray for the Church – Philippians 2:2 …being in full accord and of one mind.

I hope what you saw in that story of the prostitute turned saint was God’s sovereign hand pursuing someone for salvation. Psalm 72:18 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderous things.

Is. 60:1  Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Phil. 2:15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world

Jesus is the light of the world. The only way we can be its light is if Christ in us is shining through. To have Christ shining through, we need to be empty of self and full of the love of Christ poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Phil. 2:6-7…did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant…

Then, in humble service, we offer ourselves, body, mind, soul, and spirit.

Phil. 1:29  For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.

Any brokenness through suffering just makes another crack for the light to shine through all the brighter.
