Isaiah 55:1 ESV “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
While we were in Macedonia, the Lord put on my heart to collect food and clothing from people at church to take to families living in a local trash dump. When I delivered items there, I met a widow and her three children. One evening soon after, I was praying and got a picture in my mind of a prostitute dressed in all white standing out in a certain location. We put the whole family in the car and went to see if that woman was there, and she was, but she chose to go with the man who pulled up twenty seconds later instead of talking with me. However, on our way out, I saw that widow waiting for business. I was able to talk her into coming with us to our house. I talked to her about the Lord, gave her $10 so she wouldn’t need to “work” that night, and took her home. I started going once a week to spend time with her. One night, the Lord gave her a dream of a large banquet table with enormous fruit on it and a man in white who said to her, “Come and eat. There is no cost.” She told me the dream, and I told her that was Jesus. I was able to lead her to the Lord and baptize her. She got a new profession, and the Lord brought her out of the trash dump and into her own home.
