Psalm 62:6 ESV  My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.

What are you expecting from Him?

Isaiah 28:29 This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.

Do you see your circumstances and all that’s going on in your life as from the Lord?

vs. 28 Bread flour must be ground…Break it with his cartwheel, or crush it with his horsemen.

But…

“…he does not thresh it forever.”

There is a purpose for it.

vs. 25 When he has leveled its surface, does he not sow the black cumin and scatter the cumin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place?

There’s a sowing. That also means there will be a reaping. There’s also a place for sowing in tears but reaping with joy (Ps. 126).

vs. 16 …a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: ‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’

Believe it is the Lord’s work, so you won’t be in haste to find your own way out. Don’t remove yourself prematurely from the threshing floor. Let Him complete the work in its time. You want to live up to His standard!
