Did you put Jesus into Psalm 119? “For I find my delight in You, whom I love. I will lift up my hands toward You, whom I love, and I will meditate on You.”
1 Peter 1:8 They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
When I read this, all I could think was, “But for the grace of God.”
Do you know when you received the grace of God?
(2 Tim. 1:9) He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.
You are where you are today only because of the grace of God. You know God only because of His gift of grace. You have tasted that the Lord is good, only because of the grace of God.
And “if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good” and have received the “honor for you who believe,” it is “that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light,” for you are “God’s people” and “now you have received mercy.”
