Ezekiel 3:17-18 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. If…you give him no warning,…his blood I will require at your hand.”
What does the Lord require of you? To what position has God appointed you to? What is your part in the Body of Christ? You were created for a purpose and it’s for others, not for yourself.
I am not an evangelist. That’s not what I am appointed to. That doesn’t mean I don’t share my faith, but it’s not my call.
I’m a teacher, and I teach. That’s my “power to be a witness.” The Lord uses it to lead people to Him and into deeper knowledge of Him. There’s an elderly woman at my church who so obviously has the gift of helps. That’s her power. She’s a glorious witness to the love of God.
What’s your role in the church? What’s your part in the body? What does the Lord require of you?
