Are you weak? Or are you strong?

Ezekiel 34:16 …and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will destroy…

It’s not a gift to be strong. It’s a gift to be weak, to be needy. The Lord’s power is shown in our weakness. He doesn’t make us strong so that we can then be strong and go accomplish in the strength we’ve been given. He makes us weak, so we can’t accomplish, so we need Him to accomplish. He’s the strength. He’s the power. It is never ours to wield as we please. It’s all His and for Him. From Him and through Him and to Him for His glory!

Ezekiel 34:15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down…

Ez. 34:26-27 …I will send down the showers in their season…the trees of the field shall yield their fruit,…

You really don’t have to work so hard. He makes us lie down. He sends the needed showers and Himself brings the fruit. Our job is just to remain planted, to abide.
