Speaking of asking the Lord for things and not worrying about what that means in how it’s worked out, another prayer the Lord has answered is removing pride. I know the dangers of pride and don’t want, but still could feel it. I remember struggling in prayer until I finally truly told the Lord I wanted Him to humiliate me if necessary to get rid of it. I didn’t have to suffer some big public humiliation as I imagined that day, but the Lord lets me humiliate myself regularly in little ways to help me out. 🙂 Things that used to stir up pride in me don’t any more. He did it. He can accomplish anything.

Christians should be careful about giving awards and honor to each other. An award is either praising someone for doing what was the Lord’s doing or for working in their own strength, accomplishing something in the flesh and not needing God! Neither would be right to receive an award for. Let’s find humility.
