And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

Christianity is the simplest thing. Know Him. We make things complicated. This is eternal life, so if you know Him, you are living your eternal life now. Eternal life isn’t something that happens when you die. God’s word says believers will not perish. I am never going to die, only get rid of this half used up tent and get clothed in something that will never see corruption.

I know in 1 Corinthians there is a verse that says we will know fully even as we are fully known, but I like to think that because God is infinite we’ll always be getting to know Him, that there would always be more wonders to discover about Him and His ways. Know Him and always be getting to know Him. You certainly won’t reach the end of what there is to know this side of heaven.
