Marked

The 144,000 were sealed. How? Here we read that they have the Lamb’s name and His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

I didn’t even mention in chapter thirteen about the mark of the beast on the forehead and hand.

Don’t worry about the mark. Not because it doesn’t matter, but because we have a God who takes care of us. Be marked for Christ. Be sealed. Ephesians one talks about being sealed by the Holy Spirit.

The perfect ones are with Jesus on Mount Zion. Are there perfect people who have never lied? No. These are redeemed. We are perfect only in Christ Jesus.

The message being proclaimed is “Fear God and give Him glory because the hour of judgment has come.”

There is another message, one of warning. “If anyone worships the beast, he will drink the wine of God’s wrath.”

The saints need endurance. The saints are those who keep the commandments and keep their faith in Jesus.

This is always true. This isn’t an end-times thing.

We keep the commandments. We keep our faith in Jesus. This isn’t just for those who are remaining at that time. This has always been the story of the saints.

This isn’t some strange thing happening where there will be trouble and the devil and his demons will be after the saints to wear them down and destroy what he can. This is what it is.

We endure. We keep the faith.

It is worth it. The suffering has a purpose.

Our faith isn’t in things going as we want them to. That leads to disillusionment.

Our faith is in Jesus. He is unchanging. He’s the God who was and is and is to come.

And we look forward to His coming. His reward is with Him.

Have faith. Believe. Submit to the plan. The antichrists are here and have been here all along. We submit to Christ alone as Lord. We rely on His grace to not deny Him. He has overcome, and so will we. We no longer live. Christ, the overcomer, lives in us.
