- When your paper is the right shape, draw the outlines of everything in your landscape.
- When you are finished drawing, look around your house for flat surfaces with interesting textures. Some things you might want to use are wood, cardboard, concrete, tiles, and carpets.
- Choose one of the surfaces you found and put your paper on it. Shade the sky first, if there is sky in the picture you chose. I chose to use this wood for the sky because the texture it created on the paper looked like the clouds in the picture.
- Next, put your paper on a different surface and shade a different part of your drawing. I used smooth cardboard for this moon.
- Now, put your paper on a different textured surface and shade another part of your drawing.
