But no accounting shall be asked from them … for they deal honestly.

Our family is debt free, including no mortgage. We didn’t pay it off; we never had the debt. The Lord pulled it off for a family that once literally didn’t have two coins to rub together. But we’ve never once lacked.

The Lord provided for the temple repairs. The workmen didn’t have to be accountable for the money because they were trustworthy.

I believe everything belongs to the Lord. My money and time belong to the Lord. That’s why I can believe things like that God will miracle us out of repairs. They take time and money, and it’s not hard for me to believe He’s got better uses for both.
