It Is Marvelous

  1. God’s steadfast love endures forever! His mercy is unending. His loving devotion toward His children is unmoving.
  2. This is a psalm of our savior. The Lord is my helper. The Lord set me free. The Lord is on my side. The Lord is my strength and my song. The Lord is my salvation. I will live and tell the deeds of the Lord. The Lord answered me. The Lord is God. He makes His light shine on us.
  3. The Lord disciplined me but did not give me over to death. We have a gate of righteousness opened to us. The righteous enter through the gate. Jesus said, “I am the gate.”
  4. I cut off my enemies in the name of the Lord.
  5. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad! It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.
  6. Those were all quotes from the psalm. It’s a powerful one.
  7. On my living room wall I have the verse, “It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.”
  8. I put it up to recognize the Lord’s hand in giving us our home, which we have debt free! And also to recognize how He’s giving us our family and kept us together. God’s sovereign, gracious hand has been on every day of our lives. I recognize He is Lord over all! Over all! I really mean it.
  9. I see God’s hand in the forming of prayers, in the answering of prayers, in the incidents and accidents, in the plans we make and in what we’re able to carry out, in the work we’ve been given to do, in the trials and troubles, in the people put into our lives, in the times and schedules of our days. I see Him there. I see Him taking care of me, ordering my steps, performing all things for me, bringing out His purposes for me, my family, and His redemptive plan for His people.
  10. He’s there. He’s at work. He’s doing so much more than you could ask or imagine.
  11. It is marvelous in my eyes!
