- There is a right way to laugh at God’s promises. Sarah had denied having laughed at the thought of God giving her a child.
- But now Isaac is born and she laughs and everyone laughs with her at what God has done for her. They rejoice in the promise fulfilled.
- We are to laugh at God’s promises, and we don’t have to wait until they are fulfilled to do it.
- His promise is as good as done. Jesus said, “It is finished.” God’s Word can’t fail. If He said it, it will happen.
- When we know God’s promise, we can know it’s ours. God has already said yes and amen! It’s a done deal. And we can laugh.
- We have a home in heaven. Laugh; it’s a joyful thing!
- We have a loving Father who will never forsake us. Laugh.
- We have the Holy Spirit to comfort, teach, and guide us. Laugh.
- We have the love of Christ poured into our hearts. Laugh.
- We have the mind of Christ. Laugh.
- The Spirit that raised Christ from the dead gives life to your mortal body. Laugh.
- Jesus will never leave us. He is with us always even to the end of the age. Laugh.
- We have everything we need for life and godliness. Laugh.
- We are seated in heavenly places with Christ. Laugh.
- We are co-heirs with Christ. Laugh.
- We will feast at the table prepared for us in the presence of our enemies. Laugh.
- God’s deliverance is sure. God’s salvation is sure. We will see His goodness in the land of the living. Laugh!
