If someone is from God, they will testify that the life of Christ is in them by the Spirit. It’s the antichrist spirit that lives by self instead of relying on Jesus to live through them.

We have overcome. We don’t need to fear other spirits. We have the only true God living in us. The one who spoke and the world and galaxies were created is in you. He’s greater than anything you will face.

Love is the greatest gift. Love is from God. The Holy Spirit poured out on us is God’s love poured into us. Whoever loves has been born of God.

If you aren’t loving others, you don’t know God.

We live through Jesus and Jesus loves.

Jesus not only gives us the Spirit of love, but He demonstrated love. He laid down His life. The Father demonstrated love in sending His Son to die in our place.

If we love one another, we are keeping the law and His love is perfected in us; He will be abiding in us.

If we are abiding in love, remain in love toward God and others, we can have confidence facing the day of judgment.

We don’t have to fear God’s judgment. Fear has to do with punishment. But if we have been perfected in love, by God’s love in us and God’s love loving others through us, then we have no fear.

We can live in that love because He first loved us.

We must love because He first loved us.

We do love because He first loved us. What other response could we have when God gave up His only begotten son, when Jesus gave up His life, when God loved me an enemy sinner, when God daily shows me mercy?

There’s only one response. Love.
