Your Savior is Your creator and He has called you by name and declared that you are His. You belong to the God who created the heavens and the earth and everything in them, who makes rivers in the desert just so He can give a drink to His chosen. That’s you. And He does it so that we might declare His praise.

Do you praise God each day? Are your eyes on the threats looming on every side or on your God who not only parts the waters but holds them back until you are safely through and who not only protects you in the fire but stands there with you so you are not alone.

Don’t grow weary of calling on Him. Don’t grow weary of offering Him the sacrifices He desires of thanksgiving and praise.

For your sake He takes down Babylon. For your sake He gives over peoples. For your sake He acts. He acts for the sake of the one He created for His glory. Glorify Him and do not fear. We are able to not fear because the Holy One of Israel is our God. The flame will not consume us, the fire will not burn, the waters will not overwhelm us because we are His.

We are His. That means He redeemed us, bought us. We were bought with a price. We are valuable to Him. He bought us with His life, His blood poured out.

May He receive all He paid for! Live for His glory. Believe in His name. Fear not! Know you are His and He is your God. Who can stand against Him? He is for you and will fight for you. He gives the nations in exchange for you. You are valued, precious in His eyes. You are honored and loved.
