As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!

It is God’s great delight to show mercy. We don’t need to beg for it. He’s ready and willing to forgive any humble heart that turns to Him.

We can have assurance of salvation because of His faithfulness and chesed, that devoted, steadfast, unchanging love.

He is ever loving and ever faithful and ever ready to be gracious and show mercy. He’s already made His choice of us and chose us as His own. We just have to choose Him.

Set your heart on the Lord and rest in knowing you are His.
