Babylon is the beast world system. I think there’s always been a Babylon. The devil has wanted to be God from the beginning and has always been working to take over the world. He’s always fought God’s children. This has always been the story.

The Tower of Babel was the devil wanting to rule the world.

From Ancient Assyria and Babylon to the Nazis and Communism, it’s the devil trying to rule the world. Right now, America is the world “ruler.” America rules through money, not so much through war.

America has introduced a lot of evil in the world through its media, entertainment, and cultural influence.

Satan will raise up rulers who will have one mind to hand over their authority to the beast.

Their war will be against the Lamb. “The Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”

He will make you faithful. By His power, by His grace, you, the called and chosen, will be faithful. Choose Him. Choose Him now.

Their war will also be against “Babylon.” Babylon will be destroyed. The merchants of the world will cry because Babylon bought all their things and had brought them wealth.

Babylon is getting what she deserved. She glorified herself and lived in luxury. In a single day, even in a single hour, she will be burned up with fire.

There is the repeated warning, “Come out!” God’s people are to get out of the world, so we don’t participate in the sins of this world.

Get the world out of you. Break free of entertainments for one. Ask God to get you free. Ask Him to remove all sin, self, and the world. Ask Him to cause you to hate it and want it out of your life.

The Christians rejoice at Babylon’s fall. Our allegiance isn’t to an earthly nation. Our citizenship is in heaven.
