Their sin is in wanting to be their own god. That’s the antichrist spirit, wanting to replace Christ. Ask God to show you ways you play god in your own life: controlling, justifying, trying to save ourselves in so many ways.

God, in His goodness, gently guides Adam and Eve to what they need to do, confess their sin. They instead make excuses.

Adam and Eve hide from God when they sinned. Anything that moves is away from God is bad. Everything should drive us toward Him.

Sin wants to hide in darkness. We need to walk in the light to have our sin exposed and cleansed.
