Levels

In the sidebar find all of the grade levels below “levels.” More will be added as my children reach those grades. Some of the grade levels are complete. Some are in progress. You can find course descriptions for the various components of their school day by clicking on the individual course links. English 1 is used by grade level 1, etc.

Thank you so much 🙂 Your website is phenomenal, and your effort is much appreciated. I have scoured the web for an easy to follow curriculum for my girls (4 & 9). This is perfect for my family as it has christian roots, while taking into account real world science. Again thank you very much, and I cannot wait for your upcoming work.

I was wondering if there is supposed to be a level for third? Or do we just continue from second to fourth? Thank you 🙂

There will be a third, but I haven’t made it yet. I have a second grader this year, so I will start putting up third grade by summer 2013, Lord willing.

Thank you ! I ‘ve been praying and asking the Lord for His help, concerning homeschooling. Lately, the responsibility was becoming too much for me and I gave it all back to the Lord. Over the years I’ve been in and out of hospital with kidney stones etc and I’ve been trying to homeschool our boys, now 10 and 13 yrs, as well as working ( night duties) as a nurse …part time. Its been hard , but because we love our boys I wanted to do my best for them, and I was beginning to feel like I was failing. Thank you so much! I’m pleased that you believe that the Lord hasn’t forgotten the Jewish people…….. I know that He loves them very much and Hes given us a heart for them. Do you think grade 4 would cover my boys age group ? Thank you, thank you so much for your kindness. Sue x x

Look at the books they would be reading in English in the different levels to decide where they should be at. They could do the M (middle level) “program year” together–the history, science, etc., but they could do English and math at different levels.

If my son, who turned 6 May 1st, is a good reader & also pretty good w/ add. & sub. would you still recommend first grade or second.? Also when do you think you will have second completed.

Can he read this chapter and understand it? (Reading ability can get ahead of comprehension ability.) If he can, then he seems ready for second. Also, you can start using second now. My family is about 40 days into right now, so it will continue to be built ahead of you. It should be completed in January.

Thank you for this!!! I am so ecstatic that the McGuffey readers are used!!!! This is an awesome setup and will be so helpful with our homeschooling endeavors.
