Over the 4th of July weekend we’re switching in our new courses and removing the former courses.
The new courses this year are the kindergarten courses, Algebra I, and Literature and Composition I (English 8).
What’s happening on July 4th?
McGuffey and Kindergarten
The old Kindergarten and McGuffy Primer courses will be removed from the site. All of the lessons are still there. But the math, handwriting, and reading subjects have been made into separate courses: Kinder Math, Kinder Writing, and Phonics & Sight Reading – Learn To Read. Most of you already made the switch to those new courses.
- Use this link to learn how to set up those new courses and find your lesson on the new course pages.
Literature and Composition I (English 8)
The old course will remain on the All-in-One Highschool site. You can use that course link and add it as a Parent Add-On in order to continue using the current course.
- That old course link will be at the bottom of the sidebar menu under “Old Courses to Be Removed.” It will remain on the site for a whole year. We will plan on removing it next summer, 2022.

The new course will be linked in the My EP Lit and Comp I spot over the 4th of July weekend. There is new vocabulary and reading selections, so you should continue with the course you are currently in and not switch midway, but students just starting out should use the new course.
Algebra I
The old course will remain on the All-in-One Highschool site. You can use that course link and add it as a Parent Add-On if you want to continue using the current course.
- That old course link will be at the bottom of the sidebar menu under “Old Course Pages.” It will remain on the site for a whole year. We will plan on removing the link next summer 2022.

The new course will be linked in the My EP Algebra I spot over the 4th of July weekend. While it covers the same content, the order isn’t entirely preserved. If you want a change, you can feel free to switch to the new course, but look over the topics and choose the best starting place. You can’t just keep the same lesson number. All students just starting should use the new course.
